Fernández Mosseri (formerly Galería [SN]) is a leading Colombian art gallery founded in 2016 by Ana Mosseri, representing artists and estates of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Located in Bogotá’s La Macarena / Bosque Izquierdo neighborhood, near the Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá, the gallery operates from the former residence of architect Jacques Mosseri and artist Ana Mercedes Hoyos. Now under the direction of Ana Fernández Mosseri, the gallery extends a legacy of female leadership, maintaining a consistent commitment to the visibility of women artists.
The gallery’s program is anchored in the revival of painting in Colombia over the past decade. It represents artists such as Hernando del Villar, Freda Sargent, Maripaz Jaramillo, Margarita Gutiérrez, Miguel Böhmer, Rosario López, and Juan Carlos Delgado. Alongside established artists, the gallery serves as a platform for a younger generation of Latin American painters, including Alberto Regueira, Alejandro Sintura, Luisa Montoya, and Abraham Benjumea.
Its program brings together different generations of artists through exhibitions developed in dialogue with invited curators. It sustains a sense of community where artists engage both artistically and personally, fostering dialogue and intergenerational exchange.
Galería Fernández Mosseri maintains a strong spirit of collaboration, with ongoing partnerships including Henrique Faria New York, Mmaison, Nueveochenta, and Instituto de Visión, actively shaping its international outlook. Its program is developed in collaboration with both established and emerging curators, ensuring a perspective that is historically grounded and responsive to the present.
Now in its tenth year, Galería Fernández Mosseri continues to work closely with its artists over time, contributing to the development and diffusion of their practices and facilitating their placement in public and private collections at both national and international levels. The gallery plays an active role in helping young artists emerge and established artists re-emerge, focusing its Maestros section on artists whose work has been historically overlooked and requires renewed attention. Through talks, workshops, and educational initiatives, it encourages new generations to engage with art and collecting.
